The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-discriminatory and non-profit organization.
Blue Star Mother A Mother or Step Mother (since the child was of the age of thirteen) who has a son or daughter who is serving, or has been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. Services included are the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserve Units, and the Merchant Marines

Associate Member A spouse, sister, brother, granparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, or friend of someone who is serving, or has been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. Services included are the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserve Units, and the Merchant Marines
Yearly BSMOA,Inc. membership is twenty dollars - $20. Only Moms are asked to pay.
Dads and Associate Members are free.
The renewal membership fee and that of new members are accepted yearly from September to November for the Texas Coastal Bend Chapter's fiscal year Sept. 1 to Aug. 31. Application forms are available at our Texas Coastal Bend Chapter meetings or through any of our Texas Chapters listed, see the list of Texas Chapters on the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. National website at www.bluestarmothers.org
Please check with your "local" Texas Chapter for when their membership fees are collected.
There are pins for both Blue Star Mothers and Blue Star Dads, if you would like a membership pin please include an extra ten dollars per pin.
You can also fill out a printable membership form and mail it to the address listed on the form or send the form to a Blue Star Mom Chapter in your area. Please send a check or money order. Do not send cash. Click here and scroll down the page:

You do not need to become a paid member to participate in our meetings.
Meetings are open to everyone that is in support of our troops!
Footnote: First look to see if one of our Texas Chapters is in your area, if close to where you live then contact them to become a member or if no Chapter within your area you could choose to start a Chapter of your own in your area. Best Wishes!!
